Outfit of the Day
Fall may be beginning to show its face up north, but here in Florida it’s still summer as usual. That’s ok for now, as I still have lots of light summer dresses to show you! This Swedish inspired satin scarf dress is one of my favorites to wear, especially for a date. Its super flowy light fabric is perfect for a sultry night out on the town.
The print on the dress really called out to me in the thrift store. It reminded me of Swedish folk art and was certainly one of the more unique pieces I walked away with that day. Although I wore it without any layers for a romantic summer evening, a tank top underneath it would make this a work-ready dress.
Love the way the dress billows in the breeze. It’s one of the more luxurious-feeling dresses I have… for $7! I’ve never felt more like a fashionista than when I started thrifting. Definitely being open to different pieces, reserving judgement until I’ve tried it on and being financially able to try lots of different looks have allowed me to experiment with my style more than ever before.
